Women's Golf Lands Two All-GLVC Nods, Collects Team Sportsmanship Award

The regionally ranked º£½ÇÉçÇø women's golf team had two players earn All-Great Lakes Valley Conference accolades  (Carol Stream, Ill./West Chicago) was named an All-GLVC First Team selection and  (Rockford, Illinois) took home All-GLVC Second Team accolades. As a team, the Flyers women's golf program was named the James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Team Award winner.
 
Farm produced one of the best seasons in program history since her return from injury as she posted one of the best seasons by a Lewis women's golfer. In nine events, she has six top-five finishes during the fall and spring, including earning her very first collegiate win at the Bearcat Dual Gender where she carded her first career hole-in-one during the tournament. The Carol Stream, Ill., native was named the GLVC Female Golfer of the Week back on Oct. 23, 2025, making her the first Lewis female golfer to win a weekly award since  (Al Rayyan, Doha, Qatar/American School of Doha) did so on Oct. 17, 2024. Within the East Region, Farm is currently ranked 21st and in the top-175 nationally, peaking as high as 65th
 
A transfer from Missouri Southern State, Simon ended the 2026 regular season ranked within the top-30 of the East Region and produced six top-10 finishes, highlighted by a third place finish at the DU Panther Invite in the fall. At the 2026 GLVC Championships, Simon led all Flyers golfers with a seventh place finish out of 79 total golfers. Over 27 total rounds, Simon has posted a scoring average of 76.5, the second lowest on the Flyers roster.
 
The Flyers also took home team silverware as they were named the 2025-26 James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Team Award recipient as voted on by the league's coaches. The award symbolizes the team that best exemplifies sportsmanship on the course throughout the entire season. 
 
´¡»å»å¾±³Ù¾±´Ç²Ô²¹±ô±ô²â,  (San Pedro, Calif./Palos Verdes) was named the James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award recipient for Lewis. James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Awards are given each year to the institutions and student-athletes who actively demonstrate exemplary sportsmanship, character, and conduct during competition throughout the year. The James R. Spalding Individual Sportsmanship Award winners are selected from each institution's season-long list of nominees compiled by each sport's head coaches.
