Two º£½ÇÉçÇø history majors have recently achieved significant scholarly milestones, by publishing original research in the peer-reviewed .
Henry Gilson, a history major at º£½ÇÉçÇø, published an article titled “” by Henry Gilson was published in Volume 15, Issue 2 (2025) .
The article examines how Holocaust remembrance at the former Staro Sajmište concentration camp in Belgrade has been shaped by political pressures, nationalist narratives, and historical revisionism. By focusing on the marginalization of Jewish victims and the redirection of memory toward other wartime suffering, the study demonstrates how memorial sites can be manipulated and how international scrutiny has prompted more recent efforts to confront the site’s historical significance.
