Swipe Out Hunger

Swipe Out Hunger at º£½ÇÉçÇø is a campus initiative, implemented in partnership with Sodexo, that supports students facing food insecurity by providing access to meals through a Meal Swipe Bank funded by Sodexo contributions and donations from students.

Apply for Meal Swipes: The Swipe Out Hunger Program will be accepting applications for the fall semester starting on September 9 until all meals have been allocated. Students experiencing food insecurity are encouraged to apply for meal swipes by completing this form:

Donate Meal Swipes: Students with a º£½ÇÉçÇø meal plan who have extra meal swipes are invited to support fellow Flyers by donating unused meal swipes. Food insecurity is a growing issue on college campuses nationwide, affecting students' health, academic performance, and overall well-being, and this program is designed to address that need with accessible, supportive resources. Across the country, students who receive support report positive outcomes, with 4 out of 5 feeling less stress, 64% managing finances more easily, and 44% seeing improvement in their academic performance. Swipe Out Hunger is more than a meal program; it is a way to build a stronger, more supportive campus community by ensuring students have consistent access to meals so they can focus on their education, well-being, and success.
