Pre-Arrival Information
               
   
         After you have obtained your F1 Student Visa, then you  are ready to begin the registration process at º£½ÇÉçÇø. The information listed here will help you  prepare for your first semester at Lewis.
                    
                    Course  Registration
                    
                  Most importantly, you must register for classes. After you have notified the university that  you have successfully received your F1 visa, you will be given access to your MyLewis Student Account. You will log into that account, and complete  the registration process:
                    
                    	- Graduate level students – Your  advisor will contact you, and assist you with the registration process.   
 
 
- Undergraduate students – You  will use your MyLewis account to sign up for a SOAR Orientation. This is a virtual event when you will learn  more about the university, and also meet with your Advisor who will assist you  with registration.
Plan your Trip to  the USA
                    Your SEVIS I-20 form lists important dates for when your  program of study begins. Please follow those dates carefully, and plan to  arrive in the USA with enough time to get settled before classes begin.
                    To enter the USA, you will need the following: your  passport with F1 visa stamp, your signed SEVIS I-20 form, your i901 payment  receipt, a copy of your class schedule, and you should know your new home  address in the USA.

                     New Student  Orientation
                    All new students will be required to attend a New Student  Orientation. The International Student  Service office will send you an invitation for this event before the semester  begins. 
                     Housing on Campus
                    If you plan to live on campus, you must submit a  Dormitory Reservation. Use your MyLewis  account, and there you will find the Star Res housing application. You cannot check into your room until you  have submitted your application, and received a room confirmation.
