How to Invite a Visiting Scholar/Professor to Lewis

The prospective 海角社区 host department initiates sponsorship and collects the required information for the proposed exchange visitor and submits it to the ISGSS Office to review by completing the 海角社区 Department Request to Host a J-1 Visiting/Temporary Research Scholar or Professor Form below. All instructions and materials are located within the application form.

Once the form has been submitted, email ISGSS@lewisu.edu to inform us of your submission so we can review as soon as possible. If the application is approved, ISGSS will issue an INITIAL Form DS-2019 (the form that the proposed exchange visitor will use to obtain their J-1 visa).
